Honduras: Week Uno & Dos

After the completion of Spanish language school in Costa Rica, Lindsey and I traveled north to Honduras for the remainder of our 3 week stay in Central America. We have been volunteering our time at the Good Shepherd Children's Home in the Zamorano Valley of Honduras. Below are a collection of ten photos from the first two weeks at the Christian home for abused, neglected, and orphaned children.

This Past Week

Below are some of my favorite images from this past week. I met Whitney Mitchell an incredibly strong teen who had her arms and legs amputated after discovering that she was septic. After a few hours with her I produced a short daily video about her story. The video can be seen if you click here.

Remote Camera Captures The Better Angle

I recently invested in a pair of magic arms and clamps to put up a remote camera. Yesterday I photographed the SMU Mustangs vs the Jacksonville Dolphins and with 14.8 seconds remaining in the game I captured these two images. This shows how crucial it can be to have two cameras and two different angles to capture the action.
